Olli Mäki

Olli Mäki (born 22 December 1936) is a Finnish former boxer who won the gold medal in the lightweight division at the 1959 European Amateur Boxing Championships. A year later Finnish Olympic Committee did not send him to 1960 Summer Olympics since Mäki was a member of the leftist Finnish Workers' Sports Federation.
He turned pro in 1960. In August 1962 Mäki was beaten in two rounds by Davey Moore for the World Featherweight Title in Helsinki. February 1964 he beat Conny Rudhof for the European Boxing Union light welterweight title. Mäki retired in 1973 with a career record with 28-14-8 with 5 KO's.
